We’re looking for a junior digital project manager to join our small and focused team in Battle, East Sussex to help us grow and deliver our potential.

Who we are looking for

This role is ideal for a well presented, intelligent person who wants to be part of the client facing team at a boutique digital agency and business consultancy.

We’re after somebody who is professional in their attitude, appearance, communication and skills. Somebody who is capable and motivated to quickly learn everything there is to know about web design, information architecture, usability and web/mobile production – then use it to deliver a great service to our growing list of clients. We need somebody who we can rely on to make sure projects and account relationships run smoothly.

This is a key role in our agency and comes with the opportunity to work on high profile projects from day one!

What’s involved?

Meeting and Diary Management

• Arranging attendees, space and agendas for conference calls and meetings

• Recruiting for focus groups and user testing sessions

• Contributing vocally, taking notes and following up on actions from all meetings

Project Delivery

• Sending project documents to clients via email or web (Gmail etc)

• Writing emails to explain the rationale of attached designs, wireframes, sitemaps etc

• Updating internal resource bookings and project plans (using MS Excel and Project)

• Testing web sites and logging issues using our web based system

• Writing briefs and discussing work/progress with colleagues

Office Management

• Call handling – taking messages, directing calls and responding to enquiries

• Setting up meeting spaces, keeping the team organised, looking after visitors etc

• Assisting with online marketing activities (Social Media / writing blogs etc)

Key Requirements

• Able to write high quality emails, documents, blogs and presentations (inc styling)

• Exceptionally well organised and a calm, friendly approach

• Internet literate to a mid-high standard (design, production, social media, strategy etc)

• Fun, easy to get on with and likable – by both colleagues and clients

• Mature and intelligent personality

• Modern, smart and professional appearance

• Financially literate (using Excel and dealing with budgets, invoicing, estimates etc)

• Handle pressure and deadlines

• Propensity to learn quickly and be self- motivated

• Ambitious, reliable, stable, committed, passionate and capable

Nice to have’s

• Full, Clean, UK Driving Licence and own car (expenses provided if used)

• Experience of working in a digital/web/marketing agency
